Toronto Film Critics Awards 2008 Update

The Toronto Film Critics announced their awards back in December 2008, but left us in suspense about the Rogers Best Canadian Film Award until quite recently. The winner is: My Winnipeg, directed by Guy Maddin. The award was presented on January 6, 2009 in Toronto. A mighty fine choice! Continental: A Film Without Guns (dir: Stéphane Lafleur) and Up the Yangtze (dir: Yung Chang) are the other nominated films.
