Third film in this TV to film series adaptation about robots in disguises. I actually think the Trailer for this one is pretty clever. One I know little about, another hat-not to Marina on this one but I will forever and always see films be directed Nicolas Winding Refn (The Pusher Trilogy, Valhalla Rising, Bronson), this one stars a stunt man who becomes involve in heists. That's all kinds of awesome in my book. And turns out it's based on a book of the same name by James Sallis. After the Paranormal Activity indie hit in 2009 and then still scary sequel Paranormal Activity 2 in 2010 and they are going to keep 'em coming, and hopefully keep us guessing. Book to Film Club Selection and based on the The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick, this one the book is a combination written & illustrated book and was inspired by "Georges Méliès, his surviving films, and his collection of mechanical, wind-up figures called automata. (source)". I hope the film keeps that kind of feel! Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows
I'm looking forward to this on as I quite enjoyed the 2009 reboot of Sherlock Holmes by Guy Ritchie, it was tons of fun, adventurous spirit and the chemistry between Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law was fantastic! Sequel in the works for holiday season 2011 adds Noomi Rapace (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo / Män som hatar kvinnor) to the cast and the big bad here is none other than Moriaty, played by Jared Harris.
