Tuesday time, which means it's time to have a look at this week's DVD release and there are lots of great ones to choose from.
Lots of biggies this week, including some of my faves from the summer and I wonder if I was the only one that loved both the personal journey Eat Pray Love based on the memoir by Elizabeth Gilbert and the all-action all-the-time The Expendables starring oodles and oodles of action stars. Another great selection this week is the thriller The Disappearance of Alice Creed, easily one of the best thrillers out there with impeccable acting, writing and execution. Fantastic.
Getting ready for the holiday season this week we have A Nanny for Christmas starring Emmanuelle Vaugier, we also have the touching Irish film Kisses and quietly released but well received Flipped. Feeling a bit more history like, there is also the historical drama Liberte.
We've got several docs this week, or at least doc-ish titles with Banksy's Exit Through the Gift Shop and also I'm Still Here which has a new subtitle of The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix. More traditional docs this week include Countdown to Zero and Lennonyc.
From the small screen we have the TV series Pillars of the Earth hitting the shelves.
