The Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival opened last night with a bang including a screening of the hilarious tongue in cheek martial arts film Gallants which played to a packed house. One of the great things about opening night is that for the past several years the crowd is usually treated to a live performance (such as the Raging Asian Women Taiko Drummers in 2008). This year we had a great tie into the film selection by seeing an impressive live performance by by Team 2X Entertainment, a group which blends martial arts, free-running, gymnastics and contemporary dance. They were absolutely fantastic and completely won over the crowd. Here's a clip of the guys in action:

On the final night of the Toronto After Dark Film Festival had very fun (and at times participatory) crowds, fantastic films, and some great moments. Here's a look at some of the evenings festivities.
