New Moon Monday, on Tuesday! New Moon Trailer & Eclipse Casting

Teasers, Trailers, and.. Narration?
The phenomena of anticipating and promoting trailers has grown substantially in the past year and it has been used to the T with The Twilight Saga: New Moon. The second trailer was promoted that it would be shown with the August 14, 2009 release of Bandslam (which I want to see, but I wanted to see District 9 more). But, to build up even more anticipation the trailer had a teaser trailer release. Wow. That's a lot of focus on the trailer! I fianly got a chance to see it and I was very surpized at the style with it having a voice over and explanation by Taylor Lautner that is part of the trailer, which makes it feel like something that you would see in the theatre as a part of pre-show continual advertising. But, we do get to see new footage from the film, which is hopefully the point!

Entertainment Weekly story on New Moon
The August 21/28, 2009 edition of Entertainment Weekly is a Fall Movie Preview edition and cover features none other than Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, who are the focus of the New Moon exclusive inside the mag. Article includes new pictures but only 1 looks like it's from the film. Check newsstands or check out the online version.

Eclipse Casting News - Jack Huston as Royce King II
With Eclipse now filming, we are hearing more and more on casting for the film. Exciting news is that Jack (Wulfric from Outlander) is joining the team for the 3rd instalment of the Twilight films as Royce King II. Now, I've not read Eclipse in a while and that name didn't ring any bells, nor did the notation that he is Rosalie's ex-fiance, but the ladies at What the Forks provided a succinct description that jogged the memory. If you haven't already seen it, you can check out Jack Huston work in Outlander a historical set Sci-Fi interpretation of Beowulf. The film is a lot of fun, he plays the character Wulfric a Norse warrior.
More info on Jack Huston check out his IMDb Page.
