Welcome to Film Fan Fridays for Friday June 4, 2010!
In limited release this week we have just one release of the Canadian documentary Land. It's been a long time since we've only had 1 release in either limited or wide. It must be summer.
In wide release this week we have five films to choose from including one of my most anticipated films of the year, Splice, a dark science fiction film starring Sarah Polley and Adrien Brody as genetic scientists. Splice is from Cube director Vincenzo Natali, a Canadian co-pro and a wide release to boot! If you like your science fiction dark, Splice is certainly for you. I found it just a smidge darker than I was expecting though. Also out this week is the romcom/action film Killers starring Katherine Heigl & Ashton Kutcher, guy-centric comedy Get Him to the Greek, family friendly Marmaduke and Bollywood film Raajneeti
Have a great weekend!
