Poll Results: What June Release Are You Most Looking Forward To?
Oh, I am just so happy to see that the clear lead for most anticipated June releases is The Tree of Life with 27%. It's an absolutely fantastic film and I need to review it ! That will be a challenge, but a good one. Next up is a tie Bad Teacher & Transformers: Dark of the Moon at 18% each (not sure I'll see those), then Super 8 at 13% and another tie with Green Lantern & X-Men: First Class with 9% each. Rounding out Submarine at 4%, such a wild variety of films this month!

Poll Results: What May Release Are You Most Looking Forward To
Oh, well it's a-looking like I'm not in terrible alignment with the majority this month! The overwhelming lead for the most anticipated May release goes to The Hangover Part II with 33%! Okay overwhelming and 33% doesn't feel like they make sense together but they do when we see next is super diversity of 2nd place which is a 4-way tie of 12% each to: Bridesmaids, Kung Fu Panda II, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Thor. And personally... this month was *all* about Thor, although I'm still hoping to check out Last Night :)

A clear winner in the poll this time round with Battle: Los Angeles coming in at 30% for your the March Release you are most looking forward to, with Sucker Punch not that far behind with 21%. Seems like high flying action and alien invasions are all the rage! Get more classical are the ties with Jane Eyre and Red Riding Hood which tied at 12%, and a little more adventure with romance with both The Adjustment Bureau and Beastly at 9%. Poll Results: What January 2011 Release Are You Most Excited About?
You have had your say and the results are in for what January 2011 Release Are You Most Excited About, and it's a tie then a tie than a tie - just like awesome lace up boots. The first tier tie is 23% to both Blue Valentine & Season of the Witch which I think are the most diverse choices out there. Poll Results: What December Release Are You Most Looking Forward To?
Poll Results are in for What December Release Are You Most Looking Forward To? and it was a close race for the top three but Black Swan won with 28%, then Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader came in close behind with 25% (I'm thrilled to see so many Narnia fans out there!) and the third heavy hitter is Tron: Legacy at 17%. December is always month chock full of releases that I know I want to see - so I know I'll be seeing all three, in fact I have already seen Black Swan - good reminder to get that review up.

Poll Results: When Are You Seeing Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 1
Poll Results are in for When Are You Seeing Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 1, and surprized to see that 28% of voters are not planning on seeing it! Wowzers. But if you look at it a different way, 56% have seen it already, 14% on a midnight screening, 21% on opening night and another 21% on opening weekend (including me!). Last up is tying at 7% with folks waiting for the crowds to die down and those who will see it multiple times. I saw it & loved it and now I bet I'll be seeing it multiple times too!

No surprize that the muggles come out in full force and make the most anticipated November release to be Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 (Only a week and a half to go - oh boy, I really have to finish re-reading the book!), but I am suprized that second place goes to Due Date at 16%. Wow. Well, it was out this past weekend and I will be curious to hear what people think of it - although I don't think it's really a 'Shannon' film :)

I'm absolutely beaming that the clear leader for The Scariest Films Are... goes to Paranormal with 41% Fans of the paranormal are in for a treat this week as on this weeks Movie Moxie Podcast I've be discussing supernatural films as a genre and even touching on the differences and definitions of supernatural, paranormal and the occult. The next in the running for results as folks that don't like scary films at all (16%), then a tie between Aliens & Psychological (12% each), Slashers (8%) and ending with another tie at Monsters & Straight Up Horror (4% each).

It looks like TIFF Spirit is very much in the air with the biggest vote going to 47% saying Yes, it's a yearly ritual and 11% of folks for the first time. Next up are the No's, 17% who wish they are and then 11% Not going this year and 11% are just straight up No.

You have voted and the results are in! Although Never Let Me Go had an early lead it ended up in 3rd place with 13%. It seems like in September people are looking for vengeance and blood with Machete coming in 1st place at 27% and Resident Evil: Afterlife a near 2nd at 24%. I'm not that suprized to see that 50% Saw & Loved Inception! I wonder if it will be the film of the summer? Next most popular vote is actually a tie at 18% which goes to both Saw it & Enjoyed it and Still Planning on Seeing It. Poll Results: What July Release Are You Most Excited About?
The results are in for What July Release Are You Most Excited About and in the midnight hour Inception pulled into the lead with 27% and The Girl Who Played with Fire which was sitting at #1 until that point shifted to the second most popular answer at 21%. Those two titles took in almost half of the overall votes with the remaining half doling out to a couple of ties: The Last Airbender and Predators at 12% & I Am Love and Salt at 9%. Rounding out the selections are Charlie St. Cloud at 6% and The Sorcerer's Apprentice at 3%.

Poll Results: The Twilight Saga: Eclipse Comes Out This Week. When Are You Seeing It?
You have voted and the results are in. A whopping 65% voted that they are not planning on seeing The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Wow. I'm a little surprized at that, not as many Twi-fans here as I'd thought. Of the remaining 35% who are planning on seeing it, it's a Tie for 2nd place of seeing it at the Midnight Screening along with After the Crowd Dies Down, and then 8% saw it on Opening Day. Interesting that 0% planned on seeing it opening weekend, I've very curious to see how it did at the box office after a really strong midnight take. We will know soon enough.
